This site is really cool. I like how it has the course description and references. My friend actually goes to BB&N and I have seen the really neat technology they have their. This is almost like Edline. It has course descriptions and assignments like we do. But to make Edline better, we should have our books online.
Salutations, this is Ryan M from block C. Being from the VHS class, I can say that as cool as this seems, everything constantly goes wrong and you can barely rely on it for anything, I don't really think its the best of ideas, unless you really know what you're doing.
This is Mary Jane R. from Block C. I think that having this website as a resource for geometry students would be a great idea. Not only does this website give the reader the assignments, it gives the students different tools that can make math fun. I think this would be a helpful website because it has fun things, and it also has resources and prep for the exams at the end of a semester. In my opinion, this would be a great way to get students more interested in geometry, and math in general.
This is Matt D from your E block class, and I'd have to say that i don't like the site, it has a weird layout, and I would definitly not want RMHS to have a site like this, I can't figure out what it is supposed to be, or where anything is.
Hello this is Stephen Carpinito from Block C Geometry. I think having a math website that we would be able to set up and maintain would be a great idea. I especially like the fact about the website that the entire class worked to keep it running and maintained. Having one of these at RMHS would be really cool, I think that it would be really good, cool, and fun for all of us to work together to update and maintain such a math website. I think it would be really fun for us to create one about our work with the Fibonacci Sequence (if we do get to it) to show all of our hard work to the world, I also would think that it be cool for future classes to be able to participate in the website, much like how this website was run. All in all, I think that doing something like this would be cool and fun.

After completing a statistics project in VHS last year, I understand that most statistics seem like random, boring numbers, but when you calculate things like standard deviation, it takes on a whole new meaning. To set up a website like this, make sure that you don't rely too much on the technology involved, because when it doesn't work, a whole host of problems can occur, and nobody wants that. However, if our homework were to be posted each day online, it would make things a little easier. It would also be helpful to be able to access our textbooks online, but these thigs can all be done on Edline, eliminating the need for a separate website.
Hi Mrs. Fitzpatrick it's Maddie from your E block class. I think Lincoln was saying that everyone should devote what they have to everything they do. Also I think lincoln's speech is very logical because he is talking about how everyone is created equal. If I listened to his speech back then I would be inspired to do the right thong and to resolve evryones differences. Also this speech has to with the logic side of math class. I also really like your blog this is very cool and very interesting. I enjoyed this assignment and can't wait to talk about this in school.
Hi this is Grace Stroman from C Block. I think the website seems pretty neat. I like how organized it is and how its updated by both teachers and students. In addition, i like the online books are really handy (it would be awesome if our textbooks were online) and how the assignments are posted online (great for absent days). Overall the website seemed really neat and fun.
This is Conner T. from your E block class. I believe that if a website like this is updated and used properly by teachers and by students it could be a very great resource. However, I agree with Ryan. So often things go wrong and often times the website can be useless. I think that this is a good start but will only reach its potential if both students and teachers use it and update it often. I too was in the VHS class and it was a nightmare a lot of time. So often the website was down or the teacher forgot to put the links up et cetera. If we are going to have a website like this, it cannot be used like Edline where most teachers only update it once in a while. If this BB&N website is maintained well, the kids must be reaping the benefits.

I am responding to Ryan M's comment. You are right. Technology does go wrong a lot of the time. Like when edline is down. But this website would be good for course decription and having our book online.

I agree that it could be helpful. The bigger problem for me would be who would do the work to keep the website running smoothly. From my VHS experience, trying to teach over a computer was awful because no matter how much you try, I believe that the best way of learning is seeing things done and then following those steps to understanding. If this website is to be used to learn new things then I do not agree with it, however, if this contains applications to class and extra opportunities, I completely agree it would be a good idea.

I agree with Ryan and Connor that a math website could be useful, but only if the teacher updated frequently. Many teachers only use Edline once in a while, and a website like this would be something to keep up to date with helpful notes, homework, etc.
Hello this is Stephen Carpinito from C Block and I would like to comment back on the comments by Conner and Marg. I did not think about that, you guys are probably right since you have already gone through such experiences with VHS and what not. I didn't know that the websites were often glitchy, that would probably have to be something that we would have to avoid if we ever make a math website. I also enjoyed how clear and to the point you guys were in establishing your point, otherwise I may have never known that there were possible risks to creating a website. However, I am not quite so sure what accuracy in math has to do with accuracy in speaking, the only possibly way that I can think of is that it keeps your thoughts organized, and you two had very organized thoughts....

This is Mark Parker from block C. This website is actually really awesome! The picture of earth from the moons perspective makes me wonder how it would look to watch the earth's full rotation (360 degrees from its initial ray to its terminal ray) from the moon?
